Qualifications of Directors
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be a NWTF member in good standing in the state of Tennessee
- Cannot be an employee of NWTF
- Cannot have convictions involving fraud, theft, major wildlife violations, or similar offenses
- Cannot hold a national-level NWTF board position while serving on the Tennessee State Board
- Must disclose any actual or perceived conflicts of interest prior to election
The Board will review any conflicts and determine eligibility.
Election to the Board
- Directors serve three-year terms
- Elections are conducted at the Tennessee State Chapter Annual Meeting
- Local chapters may submit one candidate with supporting documentation
- A nominating committee will review applicants and recommend candidates
- Final selection is determined by board vote or ballot election if necessary
Completed applications must be submitted: 30 days prior to Summer Board Meeting
