Mark Jackson

Tennessee State Chapter, Board of Directors of the NWTF
FOR: Hall of Fame Committee, Letter of recommendation for inclusion of Mark Jackson into the HOF

I met Mark Jackson in the late 1980’s and we immediately became friends through our hunting adventures.  We both joined the NWTF in 1989 at the old Fort Campbell chapter, and have continued our memberships to this day where we both have attained the Diamond Life Sponsor level of support.
Mark and I taught TWRA Hunter Safety Courses for Region II for several years and thoroughly enjoyed helping to mentor future generations of hunters.  As we developed as Hunters, we became more interested in Conservation and passing on the turkey hunting tradition to anyone who would listen.
Mark went to work for the NWTF as a Regional Director and over his twenty plus years, contributed enormous amounts of time and effort to the Wild Turkey in Tennessee through Chapter development, Jakes events, networking within the hunting industry, and has been responsible for extraordinarily successful banquets while at the same time earning the respect of countless committee members, the BOD’s and chapters across the state and nation.  Mark is a big reason that I continued my support of the NWTF, and he was instrumental in my decision to seek a position on the State BOD.  Mark has worked tirelessly for most of his adult life to make Tennessee a top State in NWTF support and involvement, always working and networking for the Wild Turkey at the NWTF National Convention and hundreds of banquets throughout his tenure as an RD.
I strongly support the nomination of Mark Jackson for induction into the Tennessee Turkey Hunter Hall of Fame!

Sincerely,
Lee Kies
