One of the largest conservation organizations in Tennessee
The Tennessee State Board and NWTF staff invite you to see firsthand what Tennessee’s more than 20,000 members are accomplishing. Since 1985, over $2 million has been raised and reinvested right here in our great state. Tennessee proudly ranks 1st nationally in total membership and 1st in JAKES, with more than 3,100 youth participating. Our sponsorships, Wheelin’, and WITO memberships remain strong, consistently placing us among the top states in each category.
Tennessee has been—and will continue to be—a leader in land acquisition and conservation. Since the mid-1980s, more than $350,000 has been invested to purchase and help conserve 26,442 acres for future generations. With the support of our regional biologist, over 286,000 acres statewide have been enhanced through $872,000 in habitat improvement projects, positively impacting more than 25 WMAs and other public lands.
Our commitment to future generations of hunters and outdoor enthusiasts is evident through an investment of over $500,000 in more than 600 events. These efforts ensure that youth, individuals with physical challenges, disabled veterans, and women across Tennessee have opportunities to experience the great outdoors. These initiatives have not gone unnoticed, as many chapters and individuals have received national recognition for their outstanding contributions.
Come see what we do. We believe you’ll be impressed—and we hope you’ll consider joining one of the largest and most impactful conservation organizations in Tennessee.
